Glare ice - sounds like it might be what we call black ice...You don’t necessarily know it’s there until you’re on it.

Yeah we have that too...you really can't see it. We kissed a guard rail along the river once because of it.

Actually we have ice everywhere, pulling down the branches and bending over trees, on top of the snow banks, and whatever uneven packed snow you had in your driveway is now at least an inch or more of solid ice.

If you don't have a bucket of sand, you might as well just throw yourself to the ground and get it over with. Then continue on all fours.

LOL - - I totally agree. That’s the way it is around here when it snows and freezes.
