“A study a few years back showed that Wal-Mart had done more toward alleviating world poverty”

World poverty isn’t the issue, American poverty is.

You’ve been here for more than a year and you still don’t know what’s going on?

WalMart saves the average American family more than $3,000 per year.

Do you shop at the oh-so-much-cooler Target? If you could pull off you "hate WalMart" blinders, you'd see that their pay and benefits are right in line with WalMart's.

Exactly, and Wal-Mart is leader in extending the buying power of the American workers dollar. Wal-Mart is not responsible for the idiotic government policies that stifle productivity (i.e. EPA, Commerce, Energy Transportation and Interior departments). Wal-Mart is not responsible for government transfer payments from the productive to the non productive.

The productive elements of our society, including Wal-Mart are not responsible for creating, sustaining and empowering the non-productive elements of our society.

If you think Wal-Mart is the problem causing poverty in America, shut them all down tomorrow then see where the country would be.
