Won't work for me. I buy Costa Rican Tres Rios (la magnolia) green beans in bulk and roast them myself. I grind daily and prefer to brew in a vacuum coffee maker. A Melita drip works ok.

Yes. I am a coffee snob. But I pay less for coffee than most urbanites that buy coffee at the grocery store. Price right now for la magnolia is about $5/lb for green beans.

I pay $4.99 a pound for already roasted, Turkish coffee beans at a Middle Eastern owned market, they regularly put it on sale for $3.99.
