I agree. We can petition the government with a constitutional amendment and overturn this monstrosity, just like prohibition was overturned via a constitutional amendment. The courts then cannot declare the constitutional amendment null and void.

I have been thinking for weeks that we can overturn this law with a constitutional amendment, but I have no idea how to even get this petition started?

Article V via a Convention of the states. (It ALL happens via states . We completely bypass the Federal government )

If the people running this country felt any obligation whatsoever to abide by the existing constitution the absurdly named Affordable Care Act would never even have been proposed. How would another amendment change that?
