I don’t think the Roberstons are money-grubbers. I think they are very shrewd business people who knew how to parlay this to their advantage. There is nothing wrong with that - it’s the American way.

I knew back when they forced GHWB onto the ticket with RR, but they kept me on the hook because of the perfectly awful democratic candidates.
Ever wonder why the price of food is not a complaint? Of course it is no longer considered when calculating Cost of living increases, but they still charge me at the register, and they have gone up, up, up. Yet no complaints not even here.
Nope I didn't miss it, I said it didn't matter because the other side could give a cr@p what you want, which was my point.
I wasn't involved in politics way back then. I was mostly trying to finish college, get high, and get laid.
Not necessarily in that order.
But yeah, GHWB was Ronald Reagan's 'handler'. It's obvious in retrospect.
