Well if you like Pelosi, you can keep her.
Obamacare diagnosis: terminal.
Obamacare ping.
...and you give up all your personal information to the world
(I wonder what SS# Odungo used, or did he get another “new” one?)
You screwed up -- you trusted us!
For all those democrats and liberals (wanna bet %?) who got COMPLETELY hosed by obozoare AND being stupid enough to believe them:
Anyone with a pulse could have looked this info up on the Kaiser site a year ago, like I did, and then this wouldn’t be such a shock. Conservatives have been trying to talk about it for months now, only to be told we were ignorant racists.
Everyone with half a brain knew that this was a complete disaster from its inception. The very first claims let the informed know it was a complete lie.
“Obamacare will not add one cent to the deficit.”
A second grader who can add 1 + 1 could figure out that it was impossible to addd 31,000,000 people to a medical maintenance system for free. I use the term “medical maintenance” because what we call “insurance” is not even close.
We expect our “insurance” to pay for routine maintenance and upkeep of our bodies and minds. If we expected our auto insurance to pay for oil changes and new tires, home insurance to pay for new paint and traveler insurance to buy airline tickets, then we could call having a company pay all of our medical bills “health insurance”.
Barack-a-Claws brought us a sack of coal for this Christmas,... and the next,... and the next,... and the next...
BTW, we no longer have insurance but hubby practically cut this thumb off last night using his Leatherman tool at midnight, so off to the ER we go. Turns out the triage doctor was probably a libertarian, and the subject quickly turned to Obamacare, which he says will be an absolute disaster. We were there for 3-1/2 hours and had to share a 3-bed room when he finally got taken back for stitches. The people in the room with us included an infant with an ear infection, a 10-year-old with a mysterious rash, and a late 20s woman with a UTI. I’m not a doctor, but I did work in the medical field for almost 30 years, and IMO none of those situations constituted an ER visit at 1a.m. According to the ER doc, this is the future.
Obamacare is a loser. "Single payer" and socialized medicine is a loser. Socialism is a bankrupt economic system on the ash heap of history that keeps getting propped up by ignorant, starry-eyed, bleeding heart do-gooders and power hungry tyrants.
Why isn't the Right screaming out the RIGHT ANSWER? We give the Left ammunition when the RIGHT spends most of it's time and energy cursing the darkness rather than shining the light. The alternative which needs to be expressed LOUD and CLEAR is the FREE-MARKET ECONOMIC SYSTEM. The answer EXCLUDES GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE which is why it gets so little press. Who is out there who will stand up and shout "FREE MARKET" and "CUT GOVERNMENT TAXES" (spending cut will follow tax cuts and the opposite is also true) from the mountain tops, not to mention the halls of Congress?
A lot of "conservatives" think government needs to regulate economic matters. The historical (a well as theoretical) fact is that government always makes economic matters worse and is not a stabilizer but a de-stablizer of the economy. Everybody except bureaucrats are poorer when the government has to finance a TRILLION+ DOLLAR BUDGET with OUR MONEY.
When you’ve lost a leftist rag sheet like the Tribune...
Embrace the suck.
Sounds to me like those early signups have received actual harm and would be wonderful plaintiffs in a lawsuit.
The majority were against this law from the very beginning yet the Rats insisted on shoving it down our throats. I hope they burn in Hell for it.
Anyone the Republicans wanted to have waived...
I looked in my county and the cheapest Bronze plan was 1053 a month with a 12500 dollar deductible. Subsidies zeroed out at about 70k. So you would be looking at 24 k before the so called insurance even kicked in. Oh yeah, a check up, free birth control and pediatric dental for my 58 yo self and my 57 yo wife. What a bargain.
I read an article last night, either CNBC or Bloomberg, can't recall which one, but it gave me a reality jolt.
In October and November, almost 4 million people signed up for Medicaid, which is the “free” health insurance for the poor.
About 1 million other people signed up and paid a first month premium for one of the ObamaCare “metal” plans.
60% of those people bought the “Silver Plan,” which is the only one that gives subsidies on co-pay, deductible, and total out-of-pocket expenses.
So, 5 million people signed up in the first two months.
4.6 million of those people got free insurance or subsidized insurance.
Anybody want to guess who those 4.6 million people are going to vote for next November?
One final issue.....
The insurance companies have been conspicuously passive and silent about the impending losses they will likely take on the policies they are currently writing.
The reason?
All of them believe the federal government will bail them out during the first few years of ObamaCare.
Think about the political damage that the MSM and the Democrat Party can inflict on the GOP if we refuse to go along with those bail outs.
Instead of shutting down the government, the GOP will be accused of shutting down American health care!
