Before you get too upset: Duck Dynasty in 2000, before their branding.

Doesn't matter. Pooch done been scrude. CB must have many employees posting on this thread. You're not the only apologist for CB here. Ain't going back even if you're buying.

No, I don't work at CB and I don't own any stock in them either. Just trying to clarify who owns the proprietary brands. It makes CB look bad in my mind no matter what they're removing.

The whole story is amazing, especially Terry Bradshaw riding the bench with Robertson the first string qb.

Dude. By now virtually EVERYBODY understands the difference between Duck Dynasty and Duck Commander.

That is not the issue.

Cracker Barrel is blackballing Phil Robertson because he didn’t worship at the altar of political correctness.

They are not, in any way, shape or form, “punishing” A&E

Wishy-washy response. Not a clear signal at all what you really think. I never said you were an employee or stock owner. You just post like one.

I haven’t been to one in years but I really liked their “Old Timer’s breakfast” Which I wittily ordered as the “Alzheimer’s breakfast”

I can only go by what I am reading. All of the articles I have read do say that they continue to carry the Duck COMMANDER products. I'm not defending or condemning the company. I read the information and just don't understand why, if they continue to carry the Robertson family product, and are dumping the A&E corporate products, people are saying they intend to punish the company.

In a war you need to make sure you aren't shooting at the guys on your side.

Does CB actually think the majority of their customer base cares so freakin’ much about homo PC that this will be good publicity? IDIOTS.

We ate at CB twice on a recent long road trip — once in Kentucky, once in Virginia. Both were disappointing experiences. Perhaps CB should worry more about food quality and less about pleasing the Liberal Gods of What’s In Now.

Good grief. I think CB is wrong. They caved, just like so many companies do. Merry Christmas!

honey you have not read the article about what they said they are on the side of GLAAD

I owned businesses in Lebanon Tennessee and I also had dealings with the founder of Cracker Barrel additionally my wife work corporate Cracker Barrel

after threatened litigation from both homosexuals and black groupsCracker Barrel has become very top heavy with these minorities and this decision is a reflection of their power

that is precisely what this is I also know several board members
Cracker Barrel is Meryl publicly traded company it is completely out of control of the Evins family
danny must be rolling is grove right now

but certainly will not be getting any more of my business in the near future and were I on the board I would be looking for heads to roll

We have to push back

Cracker Barrel should rename the Company to ""Day in the Barrel"" to support
homosexual love and sex with dung.

Merry Christmas to you as well Faith! I think one of the differences between us is that you appear to be for unconditional forgiveness. I reserve giving forgiveness for individuals but not applied indiscriminately and not necessarily for corporate boards at all.

Check the "Social Responsibility" link in my post #22 in this thread. It's not at the same Cracker Barrel values that I recall from the first store over in Wilson County. They've turned their back on their Southern roots...the very roots that made them so successful.
