One of my daughters finished up a graduate MA out in Oregon some years ago, and I was extremely tempted to say that she was an illegal alien in the application, so I could get in-state tuition rates.
Your daughter had the right to demand in-state tuition from any state that grants it to illegals.
It was the IIRCA law of 1996 pushed through by Gingrich.
Clearly says if they do it for illegals, gotta do it for all Americans.
basically, in any state that does it, they no longer have a right to out of state tuition....except for legal foreign students.
