Can’t find anything about Plante, but there is this:
http://www.dcrtv.com/
O’Connor Adds Afternoons At WMAL, Plus Savage - 12/19 - DCRTV hears that Cumulus news talker WMAL, 105.9 FM/630 AM, will launch a locally-based afternoon drive show. With syndicated Michael Savage moving from evenings to the 3 PM to 5 PM slot on January 1, morning show host Larry O’Connor (right) will do a 5 PM show starting January 2. “Washington’s Drive At 5” will be “a fast-paced, commuter-friendly re-cap of the day’s top stories, live breaking news, updates from the field, and traffic and weather every 10 minutes,” according to the station.
O’Connor will remain on the 5 AM to 9 AM “Mornings On The Mall” show with Brian Wilson. As DCRTV has told you, Sean Hannity moves from WMAL to Salem talker WWRC, 1260 AM, come January 1st.....

I believe Savage is replacing Hannity on Cumulus.
Not sure who is picking hannity’
I presume it will be the Salem network.

I’ll be out again tomorrow morning, but can set it up at 10am, before I leave for the Dr’s app’t. I can also do it next Monday, for the week-long thread, if that’s what you want to do. Let me know...

Traffic is heavy out there, with the pre-Christmas shopping crowd clogging the roads. Next week, it’s going to be a horror show, as I live near a massive 175ac shopping mall.

Hard to imagine WMAL would eliminate Rush OR that Plante would be leaving WMAL.
9pm slot? Think right now that is John Bachelor.
Plante gave no hint other than to say, “It isn’t bad.”

I really wonder what the reaction is over at DU over the comment that pajama boy epitomizes the average male poster over there.

175 acre? Good heavens! That is like Opry Mills here in Nashville. Yikes! We are talking thousands of cars.

I can imagine.
I really wanted to go shoot my new CZ 999’s today, but I have to go past a major mall in the city to get out to the country.
There is noway I am doing that at this time of year.

If “isn’t bad” isn’t bad and Larry is going to the afternoon maybe Chris is going to help with the early morning show? He did before.
