The key sentence in that paragraph is this claim: “This would not affect service members who retired because of disability or injury.”

In the document currently hosted on Ryan’s Budget Committee website, that claim has been scrubbed from that section in addition to other changes.

Note the change only came after the deal was done. More lies from Washington.

If they want to scrub that lie then they need to scrub that vote, as well.

This is what happens when almost no one in congress has served in the armed forces of the United States. I propose that we adopt the voting procedures found in Starship Troopers.

There are no Republicans or Democrats....just a bunch of career politicians making backroom deals to make themselves wealthier. I say it’s time to water the Tree of Liberty.

My stepson, age 32 now, lost two limbs in Iraq in 2008. He’s retired/disabled from USMC. I think he has paid his dues, and should not be subject to cuts in benefits. It is not like he can go out and supplement his income now.

OK. Let’s move all the interceptors to red states and let anybody who wants one a free shot at the blue states.

Does anyone notice the similarity between Ryan’s statement and:

“If you like your Insurance then you can keep it.”

“This would not affect service members who retired because of disability or injury.”

IOW, if you like your service-related disability, you can keep your service-related disability ...

.

.

... (or not).

This is just one of lies incorporated in that ridiculus compromise.

I hope ryan understands the depth of his betrayal.
