Trayvon Martin's parents are working on a book about the killing of their son and the trial and acquittal in Florida of George Zimmerman, publishers say. Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin met with publishers to discuss the book, the New York Times reported Friday. Publishing executives said the couple talked about the role of race in the killing and religion in their lives.
Trayvon was 17 and walking to a relative's house when he encountered Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, in a gated community in Sanford, Fla. The teenager was unarmed but Zimmerman's attorneys argued he jumped Zimmerman, who fired in self-defense.
Jan Miller, Fulton's and Martin's literary agent, joined the couple for the meetings, the executives told the Times.
While little attention was paid to the shooting immediately after Trayvon was killed in February 2012, the news media began covering it when his family questioned the police decision to release Zimmerman without charges. Zimmerman's trial this year received national and international attention.

Definitely, and including animated instructions on how to safely use the Crayolas, two of which will be on the perils of eating them and sticking them in bodily orifices.
Don’t settle for a %. Name your price on the front end. No % of 10 book sales is enough for your excellent story. It does need about 50 pages of pictures though. Ask $2 million or make them write the book.
Wait Zimmerman is a White Hispanic Ass Cracker. Needs a little edit. $2.5 million.
Now we’ll need 10 pages of safety warnings. That triples the size of the book.

I am sure his dads gang tats were a real inspiration to little Travon. I must wonder how much his Dad’s involvement with violence, illegal drugs and gun trafficking will be discussed.
