Honestly, I don’t remember Lester’s deeds. I just looked him up and he seems to have been most notable for his segregationist policies at his Pickrick restaurant.

I don’t know how you read your Bible or our founding documents and fail to grasp that God loves every human being. As such you treat humans the way you would like to be treated. Within certain exceptions, I think animals should be treated decently too.

God sanctioned the eating of meat, so I don’t condone those who object to it. If God could sanction it, I suppose I can.

That’s a little far afield, but I reached beyond humans in an effort to express how important it is to be humane to all humans regardless of race or gender.

If we should be considerate of animals too, that pretty much puts to rest the idea there are humans who need to be carved out as not deserving of our love and respect.

Of course that’s as long as it is deserved. I do think God provides the model here too though. I think he loves the sinner. He loves man, and we are all sinners.

He does not in all instances protect us from the wages of sin here on earth. We can’t and shouldn’t allow men who have committed crimes to be able to avoid the wages of their crimes too.

Yes, Maddox was another gem from the Democrat files. I thank God I was not raised to see skin color as something that meant that someone was more or less deserving of respect.

Sadly, not everyone was raised that way.
