“Candid images from White House photographer Pete Souza tell another story.”
The White House photographer's job is to make Obama look good. He only takes the staged photos he is ordered to take. Only the best of these are released.
If he ever took and released a “candid photo” he would immediately be fired.

Nothing willl take away from the fact that they were ALL honoring a listed terrorist(previously) by the US Government.

From the article:
"Perhaps, instead of giving in to the frantic us-or-them discourse proffered by the media (Funeral selfies! Handshakes! Ted Cruz!), it's time that we acknowledge that conservative and liberal politicians spend more time together, and have more in common with one another, than wed like to believe."
Yep.
To call George Bush a 'conservative' is to stretch the term to the breaking point. More importantly, the demoplicans and the republocrats in the Ruling Class are first and foremost Ruling Class. They have, for the most part, no understanding of and no contact with the Productive Class or the Protective Class.

In the first picture, when Bush is talking to Obama, the muscle in Obama’s left cheek is crimped, indicating irritation and/or impatience. Big happy family, indeed. What you have is two well-bred, strong Christian Southerners being polite to people who stand for everything unholy.

I got this far:
On Tuesday, conservative news outlets in the United States decided that the best way to commemorate the life of Nelson Mandela, and to report on the memorial services in his honor, was to manufacture a controversy about an AFP photo of President Barack Obama shooting a selfie with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
...then I decided the author was just another liberal hack. I'm sure the pictures were just wonderful, and made up for Obastard's antics.

"Its almost as if photographers go out of their way to present isolated images of political figures ..."
gee ya dont suppose that we dont see them as sacrosanct...and simply choose to point out the discrepancies between their status.as social ICONS..and REALITY??
I thought the photos of barry and the signer..was among the best..
Barry never missed a beat although it was pretty clear that the signer was a head case..
