The purpose of replacing Cornyn in the US Senate is to add another US Senator, besides Cruz and Lee, who understands the “true meaning” of what radio announcer Paul Harvey used to say, back in the day:
“WHEN YOUR OUTGO EXCEEDS YOUR INCOME, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL.”
Stockman looks a tad shaky in that department, IMHO.

Agreed. But first I want to know if Stockman has been bought and paid for by the National RINO Establishment, if you get my drift - - - .
If they are both good men, I am a bit indifferent in who finances them. Except, for a potential of the corrupting both of them.
I am really looking forward to seeing what Rafael Cruz might get involved with. He produced Ted Cruz and has a big fire in the belly. In the right place he could be a great asset to the nation.

Ditto here. I got a call from a Cornyn fundraiser type ON THE DAY OF CRUZ' FILIBUSTER, and told him to stuff it. We got into a big argument, and I closed by telling him that yelling at potential donors and actual constituents isn't the smartest way to get your candidate re-elected. If I have anything to say about it, he won't be. Cornyn would be a great Republican Senator for Maryland or New Jersey. But for Texas? Not so much.
Think about it. Babies in the womb are the epitome of defenseless.
PULEEEEZE!!! Is Stockman your Congressman? How much do you know about him? I guarantee you that Cornyn will stomp a hole in his a** in the General Election if Stockman gets the nomination. Also, I back up my statements with rational arguments and reasoning; not just one-line bulls*** like you just posted. I may be a “newb” but at least I don’t have the IQ of a freakin’ coal bucket. And, I’m not like the Democrats who blindly follow a candidate because of the “political tag” they wear.
I know enough about Stockman to know that he will have my vote.
That so many newbs are attacking Stockman is a pretty good indication that the establishment is worried.
I'm not buying what you are selling.

Why is it if you prefer another Conservative candidate than the candidate some people on here prefer that make you a “troll”. That word is so overworked, I’m new here, and it doesn’t even carry any weight anymore. Anyone who doesn’t agree with the FR Old Guard is a freakin’ troll??? Yeah; right! Whatever!
Either you have a reputation and are known, or you don't. Live with it.

I meant he would defeat him in the Runoff Election. My bad. That’s what I get for typing when I’m pissed off.

Consider the deep pockets of the National RINO Establishment, and ask yourself why would they want to lose control of the RINO half of the US Senate to TWO “wacko birds” from Texas?
Cornyn is just a flexible pawn in the RINOs chess game, and can easily be replaced by an old-timer with pocket change money and a large debt.
I’d rather not hold my nose when voting against Cornyn.

I’m through with Cornyn. That which has been seen, cannot be unseen.
I agree.
I just want to be sure that Stockman is just not a carbon copy of Cornyn paid for by the RNC.
It is simply a case of voter trust.
After the RNC support of Dole, McCain and Romney, I do not trust the RNC to offer us voters effective candidates to reduce the harm that the US Federal Government has visited on us for decades.
Currently the entire GOP Leadership in the House and Senate are effectively indistinguishable from the center of the Democrat Party, and Cornyn is an excellent example of that fact.
Should Stockman replace Cornyn and turn out to be a younger version of Cornyn, then the US Federal Government will continue to bring us and our descendants more and more financial and regulatory harm.
This Primary Campaign should expose Stockman for what he is. Right now Stockman harm potential to voters is an open question, IMHO.
The question for me is: Which Republican Candidate for the US Senate will do the least financial and regulatory harm to America?
The filing deadline has passed, yes?
That quote makes his candidacy seem to be in the recent tradition of other failed conservative/tea party candidates who were rejected in elections they should have won. Its not that conservative/tea party candidates cannot win, it is that they will not win, not unless they successfully leave their idealogical bubbles and are able to cultivate other supporters from other than their core constituencies. There is no excuse for a quote like that. It is extremist and unprofessional. He has already lost his bid to win the primary.
