had those ‘ student led protests ‘ in 71 & 73 been successful Thailand would have gone Commie and the entire Royal family would have been hauled out to the jungle , starved or murdered . Like in Laos .
These ilk are of a slightly different sort . You have to be real careful with Asian anarchist movements ; they are usually communist backed somehow .

I do not defend the students. I agree with your surmise.
I pointed out how long these things have been going on, and that they are not a new thing, to be tied to the stupid ‘occupy’ movement, over here.
