Soros-Funded Catholic Group Denounces Rush Limbaugh's Disagreement with Pope
Breitbart ^ | 11/29/13 | Dr. Susan Berry

Posted on 11/29/2013 8:20:56 PM PST by Impala64ssa

A spokesman for the liberal organization Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good (CACG) has posted on the group’s website a denunciation of what he states were “incendiary remarks about Pope Francis” by conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday.

Limbaugh said that Pope Francis was wrong in his apostolic exhortation released this week in which he appears to blame capitalism for the reason why people are poor in the world.

CACG’s Christopher Jolly Hale wrote on Wednesday:

Catholics of all political stripes are disturbed by Rush Limbaugh's incendiary comments this afternoon about Pope Francis. To call the Holy Father a proponent of "pure marxism" is both mean spirited and naive. Francis's critique of unrestrained capitalism is in line with the Church's social teaching. His particular criticism of "trickle down economics" strengthens what Church authorities have said for decades: any economic system which deprives the poor of their dignity has no place within a just society.

Contrary to what Mr. Limbaugh suggests, the Catholic Church isn't built on money, but on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.

We call on Mr. Limbaugh to apologize and retract his remarks. We urge other Church organizations and leaders--both ordained and lay--to also condemn Mr. Limbaugh's comments.

We proudly stand with Pope Francis as he provides prophetic leadership for the Catholic Church and the entire world.

Following the release of the pope’s exhortation, entitled Evangelii Gaudium, Hale wrote:

Pope Francis's words have given new vigor to what the Church has been saying for decades: 'trickle down economics' and other economic agendas which work against the poor and promote inequality have no place in a just society. Pope Francis's words should have particular resonance here in the United States as we enter into next month's budget negotiations. of society... and the lives of the poor!"

So let me get this straight, when a Pope reminds us that the Catholic Church "frowns upon" homosexuality, abortion, promisciuity that's baaaad. When the Church advocates for the "plight" of illegal aliens, the poor, "victims" of "excesses" of capitalism then that's goooood. Ironic that the Catholics in Alliance for the common good's sugar daddy is George Soros one of worst abusers, by their definition, of capitalism. Soros makes Bernie Madoff look like Mother Theresa.

And Jesus said “Go forth and institute huge bureaucracies. Have them multiply and grow every year. Have them take money from some and give to others at the point of a sword. But only as a bureaucrat sees fit to win the votes of the free sh*t army. For this is the will of Lord...”

Anyone involved in politics knows that the democrat party owns the Catholic vote, ownership of that, is naturally an issue with the left.

Just a factoid (from my Catholic days) for those that don't know:

"Catholics in Alliance with the Common Good" is aligned with George Soros, and hence is (in all the times I've seen their work) quite bad.

"Catholics for the Common Good" (http://ccgaction.org) is, in my limited experience, a good Catholic org.

THEY'RE NOT THE SAME.

So the “Church isn’t built on money”? So the plates, poor boxes and tithes are not necessary? OK.

Part IV. Of the Kingdom of Darkness
Chap. xlvii. Of the Benefit that proceedeth from such Darkness

[21] ...For from the time that the Bishop of Rome had gotten to be acknowledged for bishop universal, by pretence of succsession to St. Peter, their whole hierarchy (or kingdom of darkness) may be compared not unfitly to the kingdom of fairies (that is, to the old wives' fables in England, concerning ghosts and spirits and the feats they play in the night). And if a man consider the original of this ecclesiastical dominion, he will easily perceive that the Papacy is no other than the ghost of the deceased Roman empire sitting crowned upon the grave thereof. For so did the Papacy start out of the ruins of that heathen power.

[22] The language also which they use (both in the churches and in theirpublic acts) being Latin, which is not commonly used by any nationnow in the world, what is it but the ghost of the old Roman language?

[23] The fairies, in what nation soever they converse, have but one universal king, which some poets of ours call King Oberon; but the Scripture calls Beelzebub, prince of demons. The ecclesiastics likewise, in whose dominions soever they be found, acknowledge but one universal king, the Pope.

Part III. Of a Christian Commonwealth.
Chap. xxxviii. Of Eternal Life, Hell, Salvation, and Redemption.

[12] And first, for the tormentors, we have their nature and properties exactly and properly delivered by the names of the Enemy (or Satan), the Accuser (or Diabolus), the Destroyer (or Abaddon). Which significant names (Satan, Devil, Abaddon) set not forth to us any individual person, as proper names do, but only an office or quality, and are therefore appellatives, which ought not to have been left untranslated (as they are in the Latin and modern Bibles), because thereby they seem to be the proper names of demons, and men are the more easily seduced to believe the doctrine of devils, which at that time was the religion of the Gentiles, and contrary to that of Moses, and of Christ.

[13] And because by the Enemy, the Accuser, and Destroyer, is meant the enemy of them that shall be in the kingdom of God, therefore if the kingdom of God after the resurrection be upon the earth (as in the former Chapter I have shewn by Scripture it seems to be), the Enemy and his kingdom must be on earth also. For so also was it in the time before the Jews had deposed God. For God's kingdom was in Palestine, and the nations round about were the kingdoms of the Enemy; and consequently, by Satan is meant any earthly enemy of the Church.

Part IV. Of the Kingdom of Darkness
Chap. xlvii. Of the Benefit that proceedeth from such Darkness

Besides these sovereign powers, divine and human, of which I have hitherto discoursed, there is mention in Scripture of another power, namely, that of "the rulers of the darkness of this world," [Ephesians, 6. 12] "the kingdom of Satan," [Matthew, 12. 26] and "the principality of Beelzebub over demons," [Ibid., 9. 34] that is to say, over phantasms that appear in the air: for which cause Satan is also called "the prince of the power of the air";[Ephesians, 2. 2] and, because he ruleth in the darkness of this world, "the prince of this world":[John, 16. 11] and in consequence hereunto, they who are under his dominion, in opposition to the faithful, who are the "children of the light," are called the "children of darkness." For seeing Beelzebub is prince of phantasms, inhabitants of his dominion of air and darkness, the children of darkness, and these demons, phantasms, or spirits of illusion, signify allegorically the same thing. This considered, the kingdom of darkness, as it is set forth in these and other places of the Scripture, is nothing else but a confederacy of deceivers that, to obtain dominion over men in this present world, endeavour, by dark and erroneous doctrines, to extinguish in them the light, both of nature and of the gospel; and so to disprepare them for the kingdom of God to come.

When currencies lose their relative buying power because of currency market manipulation, who is most harmed? The people with the least money, and people with the least means for converting their money to more flexible instruments. These two groups of people are (within statistical insignificance) the same people.

So when self-admitted Nazi collaborator George Soros funds groups that clamor about the dignity of the poor it would be funny -- if he weren't ruining their lives. Perhaps more ironically, Soros' schemes are largely facilitated by government interventions (especially if you include the Central banks as government entities) which this particular exhortation seems -- at least superficially -- to advance. So The Pope (seems, at any rate) to be on the same side as Soros, but on the wrong side of the poor.

The thing is, Soros is a democrat supporter, as are most Catholics, Rush and conservatives, and republicans, are the outsiders.

Francis is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

He pretends humility but is a destructor.

IMHO, as a lay Protestant.

The way Soros does it is he buys his way in and then changes the organization from within.

Now I know the screwed up translation is part and parcel of a coordinated media plan to bury the fact that Francis reaffirmed Church teaching about queers and other issues near and sear to fascist hearts.

Seems to me Francis needs to do some major house cleaning because "The smoke of Satan has entered the very sanctuary of St. Peter's basilica." has been ignored so long it's turned into a dense cloud.
