A US citizen, who joined the Al Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (ISIS) in Syria, has sent a video message to the West expressing his desire to wage total war against the “infidels” and impose Islamic rule over the entire world.
The video features “the American Abu-Dj’ana,” brandishing a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a bayonet, who says the following:
“This is a message to people in the West from the Mujahideen (lit. ‘holy warriors’) in Syria. We came here from different countries to protect this land, this Islamic land; to spread the Law of Allah on earth; and to dedicate our lives for Jihad in order so that we can get to heaven.” …

I’d wager his dad is a professor of philosophy with a well-earned 6-figure income and a Volvo station wagon and his mom, well, she is likely a yoga teacher and weaves baskets for art classes she also teaches. They are very happy with their healthcare provide by the university (meaning out tax $) and they don’t understand why we little people don’t like ours.

I hope everyone in America realizes that in order to beat these savages, we, too, will need to put aside some of our morality and meet savagery with savagery.
The Crusades are often referenced as a point in Christian history where Christians “didn’t act like Christians,” but instead they were reacting to the savagery that was the Muslim world at the time.
Even our forefathers, in dealing with the Barbary pirates noted how particularly vicious those “Musselmen” were.
Many of us would lose our souls, so to speak, by meeting their savagery with our own, but in my opinion, the only way to win against Islam is to beat it back with the same level of depravity to which they stoop. Think Vlad the Impaler sort of stuff. These are truly the times that try men’s souls.

I would lay odds your assessment is probably dead on.
I do not think that “our morality” includes laying down and dying versus fighting for our freedom. Therefore, it really is not our morality. The book of Joshua details the kind of warfare the Israelites had to engage in against the resistant Canaanites.

Some years ago I had an interesting conversation with some “gutter punks”. Much like other groups, they had their own group dynamics and relations to other groups. For example, their relations with “skin heads” were mixed, because some they saw as reasonable, and others, objectionable. However, they were strongly enemies of neo-Nazis.
Well, with a bit a braggadocio, they said that a group of neo-Nazis had arrived in town and they were going to fight them. Their intent was fisticuffs perhaps resulting in injury.
I told them that this approach was foolish. You do not fistfight Nazis or communists, you hang them from light poles. This is not a game. Either you kill them or they will eventually kill you.
The gutter punks got very quiet and thoughtful when I said this. Suddenly they realized that their boasting was writing checks they couldn’t, or wouldn’t cash.
I mention this in context to radical Islam. Specifically to this “American Jihadist”. By his statements he has renounced his citizenship and declared war against America; so it is improper to call him an American, even if he technically still has US citizenship. He is a traitor, by the surest definition of the word, and has taken up arms against our nation, our people, and our way of life.
Thus, there should be little argument, and no hesitation, about ending his life. That he is an incapable weakling, instead of a tangible threat, should not matter at all.
Likewise, any confederates he has that still remain in the US, that have provided him with “aid and comfort”, should be liable to the full extent of the law. The man himself, outside of our law, is however, still subject to our weapons when the opportunity arises.
His loss should not be mourned by Americans, any more than a rabid dog put down before it could attack innocent people.

Listening to the video two things come to mind:
Why is the kid covering his face if he is such a “brave warrior”. Anyone can hold an AK-47 and try to look tough. A Navy Seal would snatch that out of his hands and beat him to death with the butt of that weapon in two seconds flat.
The guy sure doesn’t sound very convincing if he’s trying to be a badass. Go ahead and bring yourturban heads over here and see if we don’t start burning your mosques (weapon caches and terrorist meeting centers) to the ground then wrap that damn turban around your neck and hang you by it for all to see.
We’ve tried to be nice, too nice, and you turban heads are about to push the limits and bring out the brutal and ruthless nature of the white man to your front door. Just remember you brought it on to yourselves once it begins.

Was living in NoVA after 9-11 when that map of terrorist linked Herndon madrasses came out.
My wife was concerned, since we were only 10 miles or so away from them. I walked her through the map showing her that the Islamists were on the Sterling/East side of Herndon, while we were to the West by Chantilly/Fair Lakes/Fairfax City.
I pointed out that in order to get to us, the Islamists would have to pass through the area surrounding the infamous Day Laborer 7-11. Which was Latino Gang (specifically MS13) territory. I also pointed out that the Latino gangs wouldn’t be too pleased by this, and would probably see the Islamists as nothing more than a rival gang trying to make moves on their turf.
This serves to highlight the need to create and perpetuate an atmosphere of rivalry and distrust between different extremist groups and gangs. If something bad (like societal breakdown) happens it’s much better to have them killing each other ...
