“Most Americans support ... a path to citizenship.”
Do you support having aliens currently in this country in violation of our laws return to their countries and apply for resident alien status, as the aliens legally residing in our country did, with a possibility of citizenship after compliance with our laws and good behavior?
I imagine the question went something like that.
Virtually every country I’m familiar with (Western countries excepted) immediately incarcerates illegals, at least the ones who survive the encounter with immigration agents.
