“They’re coming to hurt Obama.”

“Mow ‘em down.”

IMO, the day of "million pitchfork" marches in DC are over. They had their day....and probably will not be seen again except on rare occasions. The reasons:

Most conservatives and anti-administration adherents cannot afford a round trip to DC any more. Many don't even have jobs.

Where would a million or so "marchers" from Indianapolis or Tampa or anywhere stay while in DC? In the District's expensive hotels? There's not enough rooms anyhow. Does anyone expect senior citizen "marchers" to sleep in their cars for a night or two?

Is it safety-wise for conservatives to bunch up en masse in certain public places any more? Food for thought.

How many conservatives whom you know would or could pick up and go tomorrow or next month to a "million pitchfork" rally in DC? I'll bet not one. Folks are even foregoing family vacations now...due to the Obama economy.

We have to re-think "mass protest" and the most effective way of doing it.

Mass rallies in DC have little or no effect on the capitol's legislators, anyhow. They just spend that weekend at home or in the Virgin Islands to avoid the downtown gridlock during a massive rally.

Million-marchers-anythings are about as effective as "million signers" petition drives, the fruits of which are also ignored by legislators.
