Except for idealogical and political reasons, it’s hard to imagine how MSNBC stays afloat.
Someone on the left has to be subsidizing them.

I have a better idea — why don’t we BOYCOTT General Electric, the parent company of NBC and this waste called MSNBC? Don’t buy a single lightbulb, appliance or any other GE product until they dump these travesties.

Well I think a lot of people watch them for comedy. I do sometimes as well, it’s pretty hilarious. It’s like the Mary Tyler Moore show where they have a TV show and the biggest screw ups, the biggest idiots in existence are on it. Keith Olbermann was the best, I use to be in tears from laughing watching that guy. “Woooorst person of the wooorld” saying it like he’s a little kid or something “Nyah nyah nyah...This person is the wooorst person in the entire woooorld nyaaaah” That whole show is like watching adults with the minds of little children.

The author writes an interesting, astute article about the history of PMSMSNBC till the last couple paragraphs where he comes out of the closet as just another fellow traveler. These guys just can't help reverting to type, try as they may.
His analysis of the lemming-like leftist agenda of the network was undoubtedly written more in sorrow than in anger.

When Leno goes the network will have no one worthy to replace him. He probably draws the largest % of their viewership, except for the senior news junkies, who do not get their news from internet sources. Fallon will flop, just as the other guy did, he only appeals to 2 audiences liberals and those already brainwashed under 30.

A cable network informed with progressive sensibilities devoted to unearthing hard truths about this society is something people might watch.A cable or any other network informed with any sensibility at all devoted to unearthing hard truths about the "knockout games" would be worth watching.

The Comcast name here in the midwest is so toxic they go under the alias of Xfinity now.
