Washington DC talk show host Chris Plante reported today that Barack Obama omitted the words "under God" from the Gettysburg Address when reciting the great speech for a Ken Burns documentary.
Burns had filmed all living presidents as well as various Hollywood personalities and luminaries to pay homage to the speech which was delivered by Abraham Lincoln 150 years ago, today.
Plante broke the story on Washington DC talk radio station WMAL on his mid-morning program, "The Chris Plante Show."

It's sobering to reflect that God did not omit Barack Obama, but instead permitted him to visit us, as He permitted Attila the Hun to visit Europe. We must assume He has His purpose, such as forcing us to return to our principles and take the necessary actions.
You’re exactly right. He and people of his ilk feel compelled to leave you with certain CAREFULLY CRAFTED impressions rather than just laying out the facts and letting the chips fall where they may. Liberals are afraid that objective facts might lead to conclusions that don’t support their agenda.

There are several different contemporary drafts of the speech. Some have “under God”, some don’t. Which version he actually said is not known for sure.

Let’s be clear about this:
1. The version read by AL at GB DID INCLUDE “under God.”
2. ALL 57 readers other than the Kenyan CS’er, read “under God,” (Plante has been playing the audio of the other readers all day)
3. It is beyond insane to suggest that Burns gave 57 people the “under God” version, and gave only the Kenyan CS’er some other version.

Apparently a monumental mistake such as Obamacare is insufficient to get a sitting president kicked out of office, but perhaps it will be something like this that will finally get Obama the boot to his backside that he so much deserves.

For someone who claims to be a “Christian”, he sure does go out of his way to publicly disown God.
