They tried exactly that. But Obama didnt blink when the government shutdown in fact it made him bolder than ever,
hell, the shutdown didnt even defund Obamacare, it was exempt.

Dems all stuck together behind Obama, GOP spend time fighting each other.

GOP got zero from Dems when it ended, which it did just like the one in 1996 did.

Hell, many GSes got paid for two weeks off and every House GOP voted for that waste of $$$.

Obamacare didnt even appear in the news until shutdown ended.

Nope, they didn't try hard enough. It was a tepid, weak-kneed attempt.

And when it came down to the most important vote, they caved.

Boehner, and the rest of the GOP-E House Leadership, were never behind this effort and gave it lip-service at best.

Much like Amnesty, which Boehner and the rest of the GOP-E House Leadership approve of, they will say one thing(LIE), to fool conservatives, but will push the Amnesty football down the field in every surreptious, decietful manner that they can.

They are Democrat Collaboraters, plain and simple.

There should have been no doubt to anyone that Bohner would do exactly what he did, go to the Dems for votes to pass a Senate CR, I was posting that he would here many times before October 1. Not the first time he did that.

There was no surprise in that. A few freepers foolishly posted that he would be replaced as Speaker if he did. No way was that happening.

So we all knew that Obamcare would not be defunded over that.
