U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander is inviting his supporters to the Airport Hilton on Monday morning to have breakfast with U.S. Sen. John McCain. If you make the 7:30 a.m. event and want a shake and howdy and a photo its $2,500. If you just want breakfast with the Arizona senator its $500.
Alexander told supporters in an e-mail that he needs money to withstand a primary challenge from Washington groups with a history of defeating Republicans in a primary and losing the general election to Harry Reid and the Democrats.
Alexander said he needs to be ready if the Washington groups dump money against him in the primary because hes not in the shut-down-the-government crowd and I need your help.
Alexander faces state Rep. Joe Carr in the Republican primary. In the last reporting period Carr raised about $52,000 compared to Alexander raising $838,000. Alexander reported having $2.8 million cash on hand.
Ironic Alexander’s ads promote his “Reagan Conservatism” but he’s having liberal Mccain campaign with him not Cruz!
Lamar voted to confirm Sonia Sotomayor to the USSC.
Lamar voted for the senate amnesty bill this summer.
Lamar is a ring leader to have internet purchases taxed.
Lamar hates coal.
BHO tramples the Constitution daily. Scandals that read like a Grisham novel (Fast & Furious, IRS, Benghazi, NSA, Obamacare waivers, exemptions, executive decrees, AP/Rosen-gate, "recess" appointments, War Powers Act n/a (Libya), etc., etc., etc.).
Yet, Lamar is spending thou$and$ on ad$ to tell us how he stood up to Obama wrt Obamacare. The president oversteps his authority regularly & not a peep from Lamar.
Yep, I'm going to swindle those hicks in my state one more time to keep my 5 decade political career afloat.
Flush Lamar.
I hope primary voters are smart enough to read Alexander’s voting record. He’s not mentioning that in his ads only what he did as governor.
Also today I heard a news report identify Carr as running for Congress!!!

Good catch, don-o.
Truth in advertising comes to the Alexander campaign.
