No, it means that VA has enough Big Government parasites living in Fairfax Co. to rule VA until the entire system collapses, and they begin starving to death.

30% of the residents of Fairfax County are foreign-born compared to 15% in 1990. In addition to the huge increase in immigrants, a large infusion of outsiders mainly from the Northeast, have flocked to the VA suburbs of DC to feed at the public trough. Think tanks, lobbyists, and government contractors have changed the political dynamic along with a large population of government employers. The biggest single employer in Fairfax County is the public school system with 22,852 employees (2010 figures). The unemployment rate in Fairfax County is around 4%.

Similar numbers exist in other counties and cities in NoVa. It is also worth remembering that 20% of the population of VA is black. The bottom line is that if the Dems turnout they win. And they are getting better and better at turning out their voters.

I think all feds participating in FEHB get dumped onto the exchanges in Jan., 2014. I was reading that on Heritage Fdn’s web site today. I think FEHB retirees get dumped later. I can’t figure it out.

Also, voters have the option of not voting at all in any particular race.

Again, that's possible, but not significantly likely.

What is means is the “city folks” (mostly transplants) on the coast and Richmond voted for the liberal. Here in sparsely populated SW Virginia he lost like 57% to 32% with the remaining votes going to the libertarian.

You guts act like this was the first time Virginia voted for a Democratic governor. It has before and the state did not fall off the planet. The good thing about Virginia is that idiot Terry can’t run again.

So Va is a “one and done”?

McAwful will have to work fast. He’s probably enrolled in the Chicago Mob executive order boot camp....

Free trade was a corporate lie. The spin was when the US sell off their manufacturing base, it frees up capital to invest in future high tech industries. New high paying tech jobs will be created. Many factory working fathers in the late 1970’s resign to that fact and supported their kids to go to college in lieu of working with their hands so they have an opportunity. During the 1980’s many of these blue collar kids became yuppies. High tech, finance and computers were the ticket to upper middle class life. Little did these Americans know of the corporate betrayal comming. Chinese workers and factories could not solder PC boards together, but US companies were more then happy to teach them along with manufacturing and technical assistance. The Chinese were not illiterate Third Worlders, they quickly caught on and then some. Corporate America did not care as the Chinese closed the high tech gap. All they cared about was they were able to get products and technologies at low low Chinese prices and pocketing the difference for themselves and eventually closed US high tech factories and firing US high tech workers for lower cost Chinese ones. Now India is available to do the IT and software work. Only people who made out in the WTO is the CEO, inner exec staff and bankers who financed the efforts. Everyone else got stagnate wages and eventually out of a job. Now corporate America wants more H-1B tech guest workers, but will lay off US workers and refuse to hire US college grads (except for foreign grads). If free trade is so good for America, where are the high paying tech jobs it promised????!!!!!

“If free trade is so good for America, where are the high paying tech jobs it promised????!!!!!”

I had that argument here, over and over. I can’t tell you how many times I was called a communist and told to “go back to the DU”.

The free traders won... how’s it working out for us?

Actually, it's fairly common here.

And don’t forget the numbers of write-ins, as well. More than 11,000 in the governor’s race, vs 4,500 for AG. There’s a variety of reasons as to why the vote totals don’t match up from race to race.

Agreed.

Yes, that reason is largely FRAUD!

Virginia’s voter I.D. law doesn’t go into effect until next year, and so, yes, there IS fraud involved.

Any state which doesn’t verify the identity of the voters at the polls is ripe for rampant fraud by the Demonicrats.
