BILLY GRAHAM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED FOR YEARS

Very sad to learn about the direction he went, especially considering where he used to be.

BILLY GRAHAM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED FOR YEARS

How many people have you brought into the kingdom? Will the LORD tell you, “Well done, good and faithful servant?”

1. Read the directions below (Matthew 7:1). 2. Read the criteria on which GOD judges. 3. See how you stack up against Bill Graham. 4. No one is perfect, but GOD judges a man’s heart.

MATTHEW 7:1 [ Judging Others ]
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? ...

MATTHEW 25
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

From your website:

“There’s no basis for fellowship between the Christian and the Roman Catholic Church.”

Hmmm....yes, I have a number of theological differences with the Catholic Church, and yes, it is obvious that many Catholics are not saved - as could also be said of many Baptists I’ve met.

But if THAT is what you mean by Billy Graham being compromised...well, there are a lot of fire-breathing Protestant preachers who have been compromised far worse!

Sit in any church or listen to any preacher long enough and you'll hear something you do not agree with or see them have a bad day. Some sit and wait for it so they can accuse.

For a man who gave 60 years of his life to preaching The Gospel I believe he's done his best and at great personal cost to him and his family for the sake of The Kingdom. He's 95 years old. For those of us born in the 1950's Billy Graham was already 30-40 something years old.

Not every preacher is given the same tallents or the same mission for that matter. Ethics wise he has ran one of the most accountable ministries for it's size in the world. His personal behavior free of scandals. His home life including his home can easilly be called modest. His Fruits? Spreading the Gospel to likely Hundreds of millions if not Billions in his life time. A son, daughter, and grandson in the ministry. His son Franklin took over a very large and at times dangerous ministry from his mentor Bob Pierce.

No preacher is perfect. No preacher, missionary, priest, Pope, no one not even the Apostiles were perfect and they had their own shortcomings. They are human and Graham doesn't clain perfection.

Billy Graham is a man GOD used to bring a message and make a difference in this world. Perhaps he may well be the last of such messengers on such a large scale before the Second Coming.

I watched the special last night. I saw a very humble man giving a message he has preached for his entire life. I also see around me a secular world with a secular media and even jealous ministries chomping at the bit to find anything they can take and twist out of context to discredit him.

Some are angered because he didn't publically rebuke certain presidents. The man had their ear and their trust. Does any Freeper want what they discussed with a preacher published in the paper or made nightly news? Or does he follow the lessons of Daniel a trusted advisor to kings while he was still a servant to GOD? Leaders who at first despised him then even one tried to kill him. GOD annoints the leaders in this world. They are either a blessing or a judgement upon nations. Even David realized as much at a young age.

One of Mr Graham's messages is included on a CD of Rick Skaggs "Soldier of the Cross" album on the beginning of the song "Are you afraid to die". It was dubbed as a lead in to that song. Judging from the sound of Grahams voice I'd say he said it likely in the late 1980's or thereabouts. It was before his voice became weaker. Here is the text.

"I believe the time to be born and die is in GOD's hands. If it's my time to die I'm prepared. I don't know what the future holds but I know who holds the future. I was asked by a person today are you absolutely sure that you're going to heaven. I said I'm absolutely sure. Not because of anything I've done. I've sinned. I'm going to heaven because of what Christ did on that cross and the fact GOD raised Him from the dead. What about you? Is there a doubt in your heart that if you died this moment you'd go to heaven? Now is the accepted time today is the day of salvation. Come while you can."
