OMG HOW INSULTING. Do these food stamp recipients actually think that those of us WORKING TO PAY TAXES for their EBT cards can even afford to eat the way they can? I don’t know who these sob stories are convincing, but I know every few people who can spend that kind of money on groceries.

Yeah, these sob stories are backfiring,
because most people look at the amount these people are getting per household per month,
and know what they themselves have to budget for,

and get really angry.

The benefit -- totaling $800 for four adults -- never lasts Lewis and her family a full month.

Very hard to believe. My Family size ranges from 4 adults to 6 adults based on when one is back from the Air Force and others are in school. But even with 2 adults and 4 growing teenagers, we never spent $800 on groceries. The difference is it OUR money so we budget it.

Sams and COSTCO go a long way....

Read the comments. The two highest rates one are 2-3K likes, from democrats and are saying the same thing. Four adults and no job, not even PT. I have seen pregnant cashiers working, sure they probably work less hours but give me a break.
