I am sick and tired of hearing this talking point “the Republicans want Obamacare to fail.” So we’re supposed to help out with the implementation of Socialized Central Planning just because the Democrats barely managed to pass it a few years ago without a single one of our votes?

Damn good question. And there are plenty of examples.
One could start by parading out the check-in agent in Maine who didn't want to let two of the 9-11 hijackers board the flight there because she had a reasonable suspicion, but was overruled by her supervisor because they didn't want to profile.
As I recall, these two connected up with their buddies in Boston who crashed that west coast bound flight into the World Trade Center.
