Not eggzackly.

That (whole) state of CO presently consumes about 50B kwy annually. With metro Denver, at roughly 50% of state population, presumably consuming about half that.

According to this site, solar panels sufficient to generate that much electricity would require somewhere around 125 square miles.

State of CO is >104,000k square miles.

If you have other numbers, feel free to run them.

There are of course lots and lots of other problems with solar power, particularly in a climate like CO.

I got the statement on the radio. I will stick with it. Dirty Denver has no right to dictate what the rest of the state does.
