“To obtain or renew a Georgia drivers license now, a person must present at least one document to prove they are a citizen, one document showing Social Security number and two documents showing the persons address. Women who have been married need their marriage license to show their name change. Women who have been divorced and change back to their maiden name will need their divorce papers.”
And I’m sure the illegals comply.
So when California allows illegals to obtain a drivers license they are in violation of the Real ID federal law?
She should’ve told them she was running for POTUS and it was locked in a vault in Hawaii; no problems.
FWIW, I renewed my South Carolina driver’s license three weeks ago.
Didn’t need any extra documentation, just the old license and $12.50.
Sounds like the Feds are trying to turn the state driver’s license into a federal ID.
We’ve had to show the extra identification here in Washington State for several years (except for the illegals), but you only have to show it once.
About a year ago, I went to the MVA in Maryland. All I wanted was to get plates for a used car I’d just purchased. What took 10 minutes when I lived in Michigan was a four trip, 9 hour adventure, I also had to drive at least 150 miles out of my way in total.
Don't like the sound of that.
That's why they call it the Department of Mexican Voters...
So now we basically have a national ID system without having the fuss of creating a national ID system! Great!
Thank you George Bush!

Their licenses are going to be different and also marked that they cannot be used for identification.
All I had to do was either send a check with the State-supplied form, or go online.
No DMV line or anything like that poor woman suffered through.
When I was a contractual worker to the local DMV office, in 2008, there were a lot of Katrina folks ‘ax-ing’ me the following question, in regards to filling out their voter registration form:
“Which pawty is da one for duh peeple?”
My canned answer was: “I’m sorry, I cannot assist you with that information by law.”
Don't like the sound of that.
Since immigration is now under Homeland Security now, I don't see how it is concerning that her immigration papers would be in their database. Unless you are expressing concern that they aren't in a Homeland Security database.
Neither.
No, I don't feel secure knowing that they are pretending to have my back.
The DHS is your friend (fiend?).

Neither who?
Neither when?
Dear paladin2,
WHEN you reply to something anybody wrote, including myself, it would be good for the rest of the reading audience to understand to what you are replying.
I had already gone on to other things, so I had to stop, backtrack, and find which posting of mine that you had referred.
If -I- had to do that, imagine how confused the poor reader, after me, would be, in attempting to divine the interpretation of your cryptic answer, i.e., “Neither.”
And, in summation, I was “neither” posing, nor soliciting an answer for myself. I was using their question as a demonstration of the, intellectually devoid, criminal mindset that allowed the bat rastard usurper, who presently is the sitting President.
#12.
Except to vote in demorat elections of course.
Was going to tell a story about going to local DMV, which took me two weeks to get the nerve up to tackle , because of past experience was dreading it. I will not give all the details for fear they will change it. Due to my Ethnicity I was moved to the head of the line. Everyone else was waiting for a bilingual person to help them fill out their papers, and since they allll outnumbered this ole white boy, I was moved to a line all by myself. Smiled and waved to all of them on my way out the door.
