Principled opposition can only take two forms in this fight:

1. Very vocal and doing everything we can to defeat it like Cruz has done.
2. If that fails, then get out of it's way, and let it burn to the ground.

Personally, I think we have to aggressively do the former, while realizing that it won't slow down this train wreck even a little bit.

We need to keep telling everyone who'll listen, because when the inevitable collision with reality comes, we will completely own the high ground, and the left will be thoroughly discredited.

Actually, I think I should have combined the two as the one and only approach for conservatives to take.
