The French spy on everyone—including the USA—They are just better at keeping secrets. Like the Russians They give their spies the right to kill people deemed Enemies of France. They are really good at making them look like aciddents. If you betray France—you can go to the farthest ends of the earth but you will become “accident Prone”.

According to an FBI briefing I attended their spies are civil service. When the cold war ended they couldn’t fire them. So, they repurposed them to spy on mostly American companies. They stole technology and gave it to French companies which are treated differently than the American government treats American companies. It’s a very close, incestuous relationship. I worked for a subsidiary of Schlumberger. They essentially told the French military what it was going to buy. (French equipment is mostly cr*p.)
