> Their cover stories note that their husbands are financial geniuses.
While that may be true sometimes I find more often that they make big $$$$$ by being paid as “consultants” for brokering “deals” between special interest groups to “maximize profitability” especially when taxpayer’s $$$s are involved. Lobbyists and politicians may not mingle that much in public but behind closed doors and on the phones its a whole ‘nother ballgame. The majority live affluent lifestyles that only a few can imagine; both the politicians and to a lesser degree, the lobbyists. I say this is someone who’s had to look at more than a few of them. Lets just say I’ve continuously confirmed (to myself) that what most people think about them is usually the truth though occassionally I come across a few good ones but they are vastly outnumbered by the bad.
They work both ways with spouses being financial geniuses or getting as you noted big $$$$$ as consultants. Again their spouses are often the bag guys/gals.
