On Saturday, at a little before 9:30 a.m., citizens determined to break through the “barrycades” around the Lincoln Memorial moved the government barricades aside and proceeded to enter the Memorial. According to Taylor Hemness from KLTV 7:

[The protesters] went completely up those steps, past the National Parks Service members who didn’t do anything to stop them as they made their way up to the Lincoln monument asking people to come with them, begging them to make people in DC listen to what they were doing.

BTW, while not endorsing such a confrontation, you must know that there are thousands of Vetern snipers/hunters out there. Hope it never comes to this. That’s why encourage civil disobedience in massive numbers.

I am sure ‘we’ outnumber them and when you figure ANYONE who went through Boot Camp had ‘basic training’ in the handling of weapons.

I definitely am NOT on the side of the MALMISADMINISTRATION but when the SHTF it has to be fairly well coordinated and not EVERYONE in different dirctions.

I had made a statement about how instead of saying lets get 100,000 trucks to descend on the city, it is virtually impossible to pull off because your planning gives ‘them’ a chance to ‘defend’ against it....

When the trucks were PARKED along the Beltway on the shoulder, they were all subject to fines and being ‘held up’, the scales in Dumfries could cause ‘problems’ as the work could be ‘slowed down’. The rest areas could be ‘blocked off’ once the trucks got ‘trapped’ in there while forming up.

Now, a spontaneous, well planned onsault by 10-30 trucks could cause a lot of ‘damage’ and once the ‘word’ got out, others could join.

Much like the ‘flash mob’ mentality.

I don’t know how ‘old’ you are but back in the 50’s etc when base towns were ‘ripping off’ the Sailors/Soldiers/Marines/Airmen etc ‘Dungaree Libertys’ could take place.
Also during the ‘Bonus Marches’ (That I only ‘read’ about) the Army, led by MacArthur had NO problem confronting the Vets.

Just hard to tell how far the ACTIVE Military would go towards quelling ‘US’ no matter how right they may think we are/were. Now I am sure the longer such a thing lasted the more would ‘abandon’ the mission but it is hard to say.

If you convince the ‘troops’ that ‘we’ are the enemy, in some sort of way, hard telling how far they would go to ‘hold their ground’.
