Yesterday, I attended the fifth of five statewide rallies hosted by Tea Party and other groups who had an opportunity to vet candidates for a challenge to Lamar! in next years primary.
I had solicited FReeper input here,
Beat Lamar! : Help Me Vet Joe Carr
Rather than give a detailed report, I will say that my impression is that Joe would win the support of 99.99% of us. Almost all on the issues suggested to me in the thread were covered. If there are any questions, I would try to answer them. I did not record or video, since I was pressed into service at the swag table.
There will be an official announcement from The Real Conservatives The Conservative National Commitee concerning endorsement later today or tomorrow. They have a state of the art ground game plan that is already underway.
Personally, I am excited with the real prospect of enabling Lamar! to spend more time with his family and his piano.
p.s. I invited Joe to join and post on Free Republic. Hope he does it!

There are many conservatives moving into East Tennessee because they are tired of the marxists and liberals in the areas that they come from...they want to gather with people of a like mind. My wife and I were part of this movement, although we made the horrible error of returning to Red England over 'family matters' (hers, not mine). Hopefully, we can come home in the next few months. If so; two more votes for Joe Carr.
Politicians and illegal immigrant alien criminal invader supporters have for years used the word immigrant to mean, although this fact doesn't matter to them, illegal invading aliens. In order to brainwash the masses into accepting that they have a right to break our laws and settle in the USA and bypass the fact they are illegal.
The first definition of immigrant in the dictionary is "a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence."
They also changed out wonderful word "gay" to mean sexual perversion which they then say "not that there is anything wrong with that."
Oh and great report, keep up the good work!
Please add me to the list... THANKS!!!
I am more motivated than I have been in a long time.
Added to list
Actually the pronunciation is Mur-vul with the Mur being very long an drawn out.
There are subtle differences in regional dialect. I believe I have heard it both ways.
I have a cousin raised in North Carolina doing a year of Christian mission work in Portland, Ore. She has found that some folks will engage with her just to hear how she talks.
Excellent, don-o. Way to go!
“Actually the pronunciation is Mur-vul with the Mur being very long an drawn out.”
Correct, Lady Heron: Murr-vul.

Maryville is the county seat of Blount County, Tennessee,[4] in the Southeastern United States. The city is located 20 miles (32 km) south of Knoxville. Maryville’s population was 27,258 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. Maryville has received a number of accolades for its quality of life. The cable channel A&E named the city to its list of “Top Ten Cities to Have It All”. (including Lamar!)
How is it pronounced?
Thx don-o!
