Well, I have been “lurking” here for several years - but I am not much for writing on public sites. I know “all-seeing eye” tracks everything we do (NSA, etc.) and I don’t need that 4 AM “knock” at my door ... I am wondering whether I still live in the USA - everything has gotten so bizarre at every level.
A couple of years ago I joined a blogging site - actually, a “fan” site, for this incredible-beyond-belief singing prodigy - a young girl, Jackie Evancho, who has the voice of an angel ... Imagine a 53 year old guy being a “fan” of a singing kid! Yeah, I am a bit shocked myself. Anyway, that was my “baptism” in blogging ... So I decided “what the heck, go for it” - and here I am on FR!
Of course, uh - politics is bit off the mark from following a musical prodigy, but I am a man of rather diverse interests! ;)
Welcome to FR! I don’t post as often as I used to but do read posts as I can. If you’ve been lurking, you’ve probably realized that this is a great site with many wonderful, intelligent, highly-informed and super nice people. A great place to learn and to be comforted in knowing one is not out there alone - there are many others that think the same way and have the same feelings for our country and our troops.
