I tried, too and couldn’t get through. I did contact some of the Senators’ offices and said thank you for standing with Senator Cruz (I left a vmail for him (press 1) thanking him). I called my 2 Senators offices and told them I wanted them to vote no on cloture or I would not support them the next time (not exactly a fib - I’ve never supported them before - I have Maria Can’t Do Well and Patty “Osama Mama” Murray - yuk! I do have to say the people that answered the phone were fairly nice and said they’d pass it along.
Cornyn’s mailbox was full as was McConnell’s. All the lines I called were DC offices.
I tried over and over ... FINALLY answered... by then I was livid.
