The senate has nothing to do with it. The house has the power to deny fundsif they hold it together. The house rejects what the senate sends back, and then passes a new bill. This time start cutting the budgets of the mostly political departments, ie, any department that has anything to do with health, education, welfare, housing, labor, commerce, banking, agriculture, energy, etc, and be sure to cut the budgets of the IRS and HHS by more than the amount theyre asking to implement obamacare. If the senate amends it back, then the house reject it again, and begins passing individual bills to fund each essential department, one by one. If the fight drags on until Nov 2014 thats fine. Well get a new Republican controlled senate, then the battle starts against the lame duck president. Theres no reason for the congress to work on anything else, because obamacare marks the end of limited government. And the end of our republic. This one is for all the marbles. That's one heck of a plan. Risky (especially with the MSM as it is - they'd be chirping about the GOP's "scorched earth plan to de-fund Obamacare" the first time the House rejects the Senate bill), but it could work. The key is keeping on top of the House to hold the line. I have little faith that they will (especially with the House GOP "leadership" as it is - you think Boehner has what it takes to stick to a tough position in the face of an all-out onslaught from the Dems/MSM??), but stranger things have happened.

Stranger things have happened. Few of us would have believed that Boehner would have done what he did Friday, but we the people got behind him and pushed, and he got all republicans plus a couple democrats to go for passing a bill funding the government, except for obamacare. Keep up the pressure!! Don’t let them cave.
