Well if 75% of Congress does not want a secure border then forget it, the border will never be secure. Paul wants Congress to certify border security first because he does not trust DHS and second because he wants the public to see who votes for or against border security. That way voters know where there reps stand on the issue. I think it is a good idea to hold people accountable. I guess you don’t.

So in effect, Rand Paul doesn't want to lead on this issue and provide what the citizens of the US want, and actual Secure Border, he wants to take a politically safe position and pretend he is really, really, really for a "Secure Border".
Reminds me of when President Bill Clinton stated: "It depends on what your definition of "is" is.
Once again, Rand Paul proves he is not POTUS material.
