In some cash-strapped Chicago schools, no resource can be taken for granted -- not even toilet paper.
Nicholas Sposato, alderman of Chicagos 36th ward, recently held a toilet paper drive for the schools in his community.

Make the superintendent of schools use the kids’ facilities. See how he likes it.
From the looks of this picture I would suggest they look between her a$$ cheeks.
What is it with Socialist and toilet paper?
Something else that Chicago schools and Venezuela have in common.
Chicago Public Schools no longer posts it salary schedule online in the interest of “privacy and Security”.
MANY teachers at CPS make 100,000+, especially when insurance and pension is figured in.
Perhaps if CPS Teacher’s Union gave up one of the 3 paid “Union Activity Days” (a.k.a. Democrat Politicking Days, Out of 185 6.5 hour days), they could afford to buy TP for the kids??
Or would that just be asking too much?
Or
Hey. It's Chicago. "What difference does it make?!?"
Maybe they should ask Detroit how they handle the crisis.
well if they would stop serving free food there that would solve the shipping proplem
“You know you’ve achieved communism when toilet paper becomes a luxury item.”
Picked up from the Venezuela takes over the TP factory thread. We’re headed that way.
There’s an area in Wisconsin called “Door County”. It’s the peninsula of land that separates Green Bay (the body of water) from Lake Michigan.
It’s a resort area.
It’s my understanding that a significant portion of the property owners in Door County are Chicago government school teachers.
So all that money to run the schools has been scammed off and put in the pockets of Obama style politicians and now they start this scam for TP. Bet they don’t TP but more money to “buy” TP.
What was that quote from this morning?
I heard Venezuela is going to send them some toilet paper.
Total B.S.
They buy it using government contract pricing. It probably costs them around 1/2 cent per foot.
No toilet paper?
Why don’t they use “The Audacity of Hope” and
“Dreams of My Father?”
Someone should go through the position by position personnel budget for the Chicago school district and pick one (out of 100?) superfluous job that could be sacrificed for TP and do it. Oh, wait—the unions would prevent that, wouldn’t they? Maybe they could divert all TP from faculty and administrative restrooms in the event of any shortage—”for the children!”) (s)
