Read Revelation and see what God has to say about the "churches" you put too much stock in, and not Jesus Christ. You are forced to defend humans who sin through an institution, rather than the easier way......Christ. He is perfect, and He is alive. I was once like you. But. God freed my heart. Will you not ask Jesus to come into your heart?
The Church that I put stock in is the Church that Jesus started.

MATTHEW Chapter 16 “And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church,* and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.”
