“* Media begins to unravel as great suffering takes hold and American public finally wake up to democrats playing games with lives and health of millions of Americans.”

MSM blames GOP. 80% of the population hears that and takes it at face value. Dems sweep 2014 midterms. GOP has 10 left in the senate all from the south.
Freepers gnash their teeth and blame the media and the general population.

“House stands firm.”

MSMs polls show Americans blaming the GOP. House Republicans fold like a paper bag. Agree to fund obamacare and even put single payer on the table.

That is a nice little daydream you have going there. It’ll never happen though.

“Freepers, Tea Partiers, and keyboard warriors who refuse to believe that the Democrats control the Senate and the White House are divorced from reality.”

Exactly. Very well said. Kind of reminds me of all the people denying the polls showing Obama winning a second term.

Obamacare will be funded and IMHO a frontal assault by conservatives is a suicide mission. The media will savage any conservative that tries it. I understand that dying by a line in the sand makes good cable TV.

You’re s lost a lot of credibility and viewers. They are not as strong now as you think they are.

Right, they’re on their deathbed. And we’re a conservative Christian nation where the majority agrees with us. That’s why Obama got elected twice and why we now have Gay Marriage and Gays in the military. It’s also why why conservatives enjoy a majority in the House & Senate.

You’re living in deep denial. Conservatives are getting pushed farther back almost daily and an ill advised frontal assault that sounds real tough to the already converted but accomplishes nothing is a waste of resources and another opportunity to look like raving obstructionists for the 6:00pm news.

Obama got reelected on less votes and won only because the blue collar Perot bloc demographic couldn’t stand Romney and I don’t blame them.

As it is now the fight is with the establishment republicans and they are losing.

The Tea Party will win because nobody likes Obamacare.

I expect the establishment is going to steamroll the Tea Party.
Ther have been a lot of things people didn’t like but after they got pushed through, like Obamacare, people accepted them.

If you really believe the scenario you wrote you’re dreaming.
Kind of like a Chicago Cubs fan.

Oh really, you mean like on issues of the sequester, debt ceiling, gun control, immigration or Syria?

> “Ther have been a lot of things people didn’t like but after they got pushed through, like Obamacare, ***people*** accepted them.”

What ‘people’ are you talking about?

> “If you really believe the scenario you wrote you’re dreaming.”

If you believe ‘people’ have accepted Obamacare, then you’re the one dreaming. In fact, you sound like an Obama troll who believes socialism will be ‘accepted’ once it is forced down people’s throats.

I think a majority of the people don’t particularly like Obamacare but I don’t think they hate it with quite the same intensity and zest as Freepers do.
I don’t think it has majority support, but I think the majority is more dissatisfied than anything else. So counting on that group to rally to the cause seems foollish.

The rest of your Power Points are made up of wishful thinking.
It reminds me of the Poll deniers in the 2012 election.
They insisted Obama would lose. That all the polls were rigged. Cable news pundits were all over the place confirming this. Then, when the election was over and the results were exactly what the polling had predicted it would be, the screams of voter fraud started.

I fully expect that when the dust on this current issue settles Obamacare will be funded. I don’t like it, but that’s the reality of a Dem senate and white house.

Americans knew that Obamacare was on the table when they re-elected Obama so it wasn’t a deal breaking issue with a majority of voters.

Buying into unrealistic scenarios and wishful thinking just set up more bitter disappointments.

Was there anyone who believed this Obamacare defunding would go farther than a House vote? No one who knows how government works. Even if Harry Reid called it up in the Senate for a vote and it passed, Obama would veto it and there aren't enough votes to overturn his veto. Total waste of time and energy.

That being said, the Business Insider is a leftist rag that NEVER publishes pieces on Democrat "infighting", "Democrats in Disarray" or "Democrat Civil Wars".

You can remind yourself of anything you want. It has nothing to do with reality.

The reality of the 2012 election is the 6,000,000+ Perot bloc of conservative blue collar voters did not vote for Romney. This was confirmed statistically multiple times in post-election analyses.

> “Cable news pundits were all over the place confirming this.”

And look at yourself rely on MSM reports in the election. Again for your reality check, the so-called MSM has lost credibility and is losing enormous viewers and readers.

As for your ‘wishful thinking’ that people don’t hate Obamacare as much as Freepers do, just try asking that of the typical liberal progressive nurse at just about any clinic who stands to lose their job because of the harsh market disruption of Obamacare, or the longtime democrat aligned union member who is informed by their employer that employer sponsored health insurance will be cut or cancelled.

Yeah, wishful thinking is something you own.

The reality is Obama got re-elected and is currently the president. And BTW lots of people didn’t vote for Romney which is why Obama is still president lol.

“And look at yourself rely on MSM reports in the election. Again for your reality check, the so-called MSM has lost credibility and is losing enormous viewers and readers.”

And yet they still have enormous sway and if they didn’t, and it was alternative media then it seems at least one scandal should have stuck to Obama enough to have made a difference. And if the MSM doesn’t matter why do conservatives still have a bone to pick with them about their liberal slant.

“As for your ‘wishful thinking’ that people don’t hate Obamacare as much as Freepers do, just try asking that of the typical liberal progressive nurse at just about any clinic who stands to lose their job because of the harsh market disruption of Obamacare, or the longtime democrat aligned union member who is informed by their employer that employer sponsored health insurance will be cut or cancelled.”

I do think that plenty of people hate Obamacare, just not as many as you seem to think there are. I think for most people who are against it its just one more issue not a driving end all be all issue.
So will liberal progressive nurses at the clinic now become conservative and support conservative causes. If, according to your scenario, the government is shut down to the point of real pain and the house stands firm, will she suddenly change sides.

Will the union members now ditch the Dems and become conservatives. Or will they bitch about this and then stay where they already are.

Obamacare is going to be a painful mess, I’ll grant you that, but that power point scenario where it all lands on the democrats and the conservatives are the heroes is just silly.

“Yeah, wishful thinking is something you own.”

I get that yours is a happy little fantasy, and those are great, but if you start really believing it then get POd when it doesn’t happen or when someone points out that it’s not logical that’s unrealistic. Like being ticked off everytime you don’t win the lotto and then getting more ticked off when someone tells you how high the odds of winning are.

It can happen but it’s unrealistic to expect it to happen.

> “The reality is Obama got re-elected and is currently the president. And BTW lots of people didn’t vote for Romney which is why Obama is still president lol.”

Obama had millions of fewer votes in 2012 than in 2008. He was fortunate to have Romney as his opponent.

> “And yet they still have enormous sway and if they didn’t, and it was alternative media then it seems at least one scandal should have stuck to Obama enough to have made a difference.

No the liberal MSM does not ‘sway’ substantially any segment of the population. If they did Piers Morgan on CNN would have ‘swayed’ votes in Congress to pass gun control legislation. The liberal MSM is not even mainstream any longer. They should be called the liberal media. They are losing readers and viewers year over year.

There are several scandals that are sticking with Obama for example the IRS scandal, the Benghazi scandal and the Syria scandal. That there is no impeachment is what you are driving at but the scandals are still under intense investigation.

> “I do think that plenty of people hate Obamacare, just not as many as you seem to think there are. I think for most people who are against it its just one more issue not a driving end all be all issue.”

The 2010 sweep of Congress and Statehouses was all about Obamacare and bailouts. The Tsunami that Cruz has detected that is on the horizon will be part of the conservative victory over defunding Obamacare. Of course you listen to the liberal MSM who condition you and program your mind to believe there is no significant opposition to funding Obamacare.

> “So will liberal progressive nurses at the clinic now become conservative and support conservative causes. If, according to your scenario, the government is shut down to the point of real pain and the house stands firm, will she suddenly change sides.”

Nice try. Nurses and medical clinic staff are in large part progressive liberal in their view. But they know VERY WELL the downside of government run healthcare. But of course you wouldn’t know that because you get your views programmed from watching the liberal media.

> “Will the union members now ditch the Dems and become conservatives. Or will they bitch about this and then stay where they already are.”

Irrelevant question to the action of defunding Obamacare.

> “Obamacare is going to be a painful mess, I’ll grant you that, but that power point scenario where it all lands on the democrats and the conservatives are the heroes is just silly.”

It is already landing on democrats who are under pressure from their constituents to get rid of Obamacare. Democrats know the delay in the employer mandate is temporary and will be back next year. They are smart enough to know to ditch the whole thing now.

“Obama had millions of fewer votes in 2012 than in 2008. He was fortunate to have Romney as his opponent.”

So Obama isn’t president then because he got fewer votes in 2012 than in 2008.

“No the liberal MSM does not ‘sway’ substantially any segment of the population. If they did Piers Morgan on CNN would have ‘swayed’ votes in Congress to pass gun control legislation. The liberal MSM is not even mainstream any longer. They should be called the liberal media. Yeah OK. The MSM is totally toothless now and that’s why everybody is getting their news from conservative pundits like Hannity. The alphabet networks haven’t any influence.Obama is under serious investigation and will probably be impeached.

“The 2010 sweep of Congress and Statehouses was all about Obamacare and bailouts. The Tsunami that Cruz has detected that is on the horizon will be part of the conservative victory over defunding Obamacare. Of course you listen to the liberal MSM who condition you and program your mind to believe there is no significant opposition to funding Obamacare.”

And yet Obama got re-elected and Cruz is mostly fighting with other GOP members at the moment. I know everybody on FR is whooping it up for Cruz but FR has been known in the past to whoop up for other pols who in the end still didn’t get it done. I’m thinking Fred Thompson, Sherrif Joe, Newt, and the list is a long one.

“Nice try. Nurses and medical clinic staff are in large part progressive liberal in their view. But they know VERY WELL the downside of government run healthcare. But of course you wouldn’t know that because you get your views programmed from watching the liberal media.”

So the liberal progressive clinic staff will or won’t support a government shutdown and will or won’t support Cruz in his efforts.
You brought them up as an example of people siding with conservatives.
More probably the clinic staff will bitch about Obamacare and keep on supporting Dems. you know the same way conservatives bitched about NCLB and kept on supporting the GOP

“Irrelevant question to the action of defunding Obamacare.”

I wasn’t talking about defunding Obamacare. This back & forth was about your scenario of the House standing firm and a GOP 2014 sweep and all the other things you put in your power points that happen after Obamacare is defunded.

The House voted today to defund OC but even Cruz, just yesterday, put in the Caveat that it would almost certainly not get through the Senate.
I think this is just more theater to give everybody some political cover.

“It is already landing on democrats who are under pressure from their constituents to get rid of Obamacare. Democrats know the delay in the employer mandate is temporary and will be back next year. They are smart enough to know to ditch the whole thing now.”

So is it your opinion that Obamacare gets defunded and killed then. Or does the House bill get buried in the Senate and at the end of the day it’s signed into law fully funded.

Republicans are united in ending Obamacare. The current problem is that they’re very divided on how to do it.

I don’t see it happening until 2017. That’s if we have the White House and Congress.
