I was already noticed by my insurance carrier that I had the option to renew my policy early keeping it exactly the same for 1 year or modify it to meet Obamacare’s requirements. If I opted to modify it for Obamacare changes the premium doubled.

I don’t understand... If it doesn’t meet obamacare standards don’t you have to pay the IRS penalty? So that will be an additional 5 grand. My insurance is crappy to start with and very expensive. They are withholding the price because we can work elsewhere. I will look for another job if it is more than two hundred a month increase. That would make it almost one quarter of my monthly pay.
