Some other “newswoman” said it was an AR-15 rifle which is, “The civilian equivalent of a military M-16 and it fires three short bursts when it is fired.” Obviously a person needs to take news reports with about a pound and a half of salt these days. They so often refer to shotguns as rifles that I half expect that the shooter will turn out to be using a shotgun now that it has been officially reported to be a rifle.
Woman in news conference now reports three shots “pow pow pow” then four seconds later, a four round burst “pu-pu-pu-pow”. Doesn’t sound like select fire.
Pound and a half? I always take reports from the news with a 50 pound bag worth of salt, they're that bad...
