What I don’t get is that Putin would have to be nervous about nuclear capability in Iran, but has been acting supportive of them.
The Russians have been in Iran providing the technology and expertise to develop their nuclear capability at least from the early ‘90s.
I know this from having spent time in Belarus.
In your view is it just about money? Like the Germans and French supplying Saddam with nuclear technology, or shipping CW precursor chemicals? Or is there some other motivation?
