“Due to the lack of physical evidence, Independent witnesses, and conflicting statements, no charges will be flied on [redacted] for battery domestic violence.”

Huh. They must do domestic different there than here. Here, someones going to be charged. And go to jail. And after a few mo’s and thousands of dollars in attorney fees get their day in court. And possibly the charges will be dropped. Or not. But if the charges are dropped do you think that is the end of it? Oh Hell Naw. You ever go on a job interview, or try to get insurance? And are asked “have you ever been arrested”. And you say “well there was that little domestic violence thing about 3 years ago”. See where that will get you.

Asking “have you ever been arrested?” is an illegal question. If you’re ever asked that, run to the nearest labor attorney for your payout. Now, they can ask you if you’ve been convicted of a felony, but not if you’ve been arrested. I say that as someone who has worked in human resources for decades.
