Three Day Emergency Kits Distributed to Children in Savannah, GA

By Joe Meyers
My Daughter came home from School today. She is in 10th Grade. Her World History Teacher was overheard talking to another Faculty Member and the Students overheard bits and pieces. So they hounded the Teacher for info. So the Teacher informed the Class that there was gonna be a 3 day kit passed around for all the Students. They may be needed for the dates of Sept 28 to Oct 8....The Class was told to be prepared for Power outages. Teacher also informed Class that Russian Troops were Training on our Soil. The Class went nuts and asked tons of questions but the Teacher said that was all she had to say.

Laz, the reason you and I don't have lunch anymore is that I moved to Savannah, Georgia earlier this year. I've asked around and have heard nothing about this. The only caveat is that a massive percentage of middle, upper-middle, and uppper class families in Savannah send their children to private schools, and those families represent most of my current contacts - but I'm not hearing anything from anyone.

THANK YOU bro. This is the exact thing I wanted: Confirmation or denial. I believe this can be marked-down as a one-off event. Not significant.

Miss our lunches. I may be in Savannah at some point, probably post-Zombie-Apocalypse. At that point I will invite you to lunch, however, it shall be half-a-can of baked beans cooked over a burning tire. LOL

We're friends, brah. No need to go mocking on me. I'm merely adding whatever data I happen to hear. Things are unquestionably 'odd' these days.

The entire purpose of this thread was to either uphold the rumor or shoot it down. I feel obviously that this is shot down, so this thread's purpose has been admirably served.

You forgot the red pepper flakes and anything else you can find to make the beans hotter. Take care, my Friend.

Hey, I heard that a bunch of muslims are going to hijack commercial airliners and crash them into the White House, Pentagon, and the World Trade Center!

Oh, that already happened? I thought it was just another tin-foil hat conspiracy.

Why do you think they float tin foil hat conspiracies? Eventually, when the wolf does come, and the kids are screaming wolf, you’ll have concluded it was just another tin-foil hat conspiracy.

To paraphrase, “Mistrust, but verify.”

One thing about this GridEx is interesting. When Israel bombed Syria’s nuclear reactor works a few years back, they sent two planes.

As they crossed the Syrian border, the entire country went dark, whether those systems were on batteries or on their grid. They bombed the reactors - completely - and then came home.

If ever there was a proof of concept for ultra-surgical strategic air power, that was it.

If the US was already polarized, and you really wanted to curtail a superpower’s projection of power in the world, why wouldn’t you just destroy DC and the surrounding environs and then tell the states they are on their own?

Currently, all of the CCC between states is handled by the Feds, and most of the armed forces, the good stuff, is federal.

Can you get 50 governors to cooperate on defending the ENTIRE country in the space of 24 to 72 hours? What would the Navy do, for example, if the US were truly decapitated and the states were being offered a deal to remain autonomous, though separate, sovereign states?

The deal may come in the form of, “We need you as a market, but we were sick and tired of the meddling, so we can cease hostilities, or we can turn this into Armageddon, and everyone loses. Whattaya say?”

While I am very much NOT in favor of bombing Syria for using chemweps, I am VERY much in favor of 30 days of saturation bombing of Iran, followed by an arming of Iranian and Kurdish resistance forces, for supplying them NBC weapons to puppet regimes willing to use them on their behalf.

You may not get a war vote on Syria in Britain and France, but you may very well get such a vote on Iran, with this Sarin deployment being the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’.

A purpose of “I heard some guy say his daughter said this was true so I am spreading it” isn’t exactly a noble cause to be served. I mocked it because you need to push the pause button before you “vanitize” and I find that pain is a better sharpening tool. It always worked on me. Put on your skectacles when it comes to 3rd hand info.
The late 90’s were painful here because people spread this type of stuff constantly. I don’t post things I don’t know to be true.
If you like, I’ll spank myself.

Okay. Point taken. Still would have done it again, though. These are twitchy times, and I want to know if they are distributing emergency kits.

No. Don’t. Investigate it first.

Seems it’s for real, he just got an early warning sign: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3062280/posts

Your brain can pick up on stuff and start acting thereon before higher cognition gets around to clear articulation of details.
Laz is a smart guy, and something stood out as worth asking around about before he could articulate it to AppyPappy’s satisfaction. Keep speaking up, Laz - you’ve earned trust.

It doesn’t mention Savannah or the dates or the Russians. So how is it related again?

The relation is that there is likely to be a grid-down situation at some point in the relatively near future. The rationale behind giving out emergency kits does not really matter to me. If they are giving out the kits, and this event is at hand, the logical jump is trivial.

I’d still ask this question again, willingly accepting your mockery. Rather be made fun of and prepared, any day of the week.

There is no prediction of a grid down situation. The article was mere speculation about what could happen. It has nothing to do with Savannah, the dates of Sept 28 to Oct 8 or Russians training on our soil.

If you are preparing, do so quietly. Crying wolf is not helping. It just convinces people that the wolf is never coming because the reports are always wrong.

Russian Troops were Training on our Soil.

My first thought was not that the troop carrier vehicles that were seen by "GizmosAndGadgets" at the port of Savannah were Russian. Bulgaria is in NATO and uses the Cyrillic alphabet. I only makes sense they would train here in the USA with us. That is not a stupid CONSPIRACY theory.

Yes, it is a stupid conspiracy theory. Its the moronic kind you see floating about the Paultard forums all the time.

You say, mistrust but verify...a lot of people on this thread tried just that, and ya know what? they found nothing.Zip, Nada. Nothing.

Clue one. The source is an unnamed teacher at an unnamed school in an unnamed city. No possible way to verify.

Clue two. Russian troops training on US soil. That particular conspiracy has been around since the 60’s: never ever any truth to it.

Clue three, Ominous dates with no explanation as to what will happen.

Clue four. I have to take a conspiracy nut’s word that this will happen. No. I won’t. The burden of proof is not on me, but on you. —and thus far not a single shred of evidence has been presented.

Conclusion: this is not just a conspiracy...its utter BUNK.
Obama has better lies than this.
