A surprisingly good list.

As I see it, the fundamental problem with liberals is buried in #9. That is, they have this mistaken belief that they are more intelligent, informed, and enlightened than everyone else. This belief, and a related one, that a relative few intelligent people should control our lives via fascist methods, are what cause all the problems with liberals these days.

First, the notion that they are smarter etc than others, including people past present and future, is laughable. It is child's play to show how dumb, I man outright stupid (sorry, gotta call 'em as I see 'em) many, if not most, of their decisions and beliefs are. This is, as is also noted in the list, because they let emotion do rule themselves at the expense of common sense

The second part - that they believe their assumed intellectual edge over others entitled them to control others for their own good - is an extremely dangerous (and obviously wrong) thought. That thinking is diametrically opposed to freedom and liberty. It leads to fascism and dictatorial like behaviors that have led to most of the suffering and deaths in conflicts for the past several hundred years. "You should listen to me because I know better" leads to "I will make you listen to me for your own good. " Which would still be wrong even if they were right, but is made even worse by the fact that they are almost always wrong.

A very nicely constructed nutshell. Thanks for posting.

4) “The past is always inferior to the present”

In other words: Nothing significant happened until they showed up.

I once had a frustrated liberal scream at me “My beliefs are more important to me than the truth!”
Truer words were never spoken. Liberalism is immaturity, cloaked with the pretense of moral and intellectual superiority.

My goodness: #1 really defines it. I live in a very liberal district and this explanation hit home.

Liberals do not ever not use straw man arguments. That drives me nuts.

#4 actually is about cowardice. The pirate instinct on the upper deck needs decoration and satisfaction, hence the foundation and hull must be gutted. Liberals cannot see that happiness is a byproduct of life, and not the reverse. They will never know higher values and enjoyments. They indeed live in Plato’s cave, because they believe its where they are smarter than others, thus it must be imposed.

13) "Good for thee but not good for me" and 14) "We never met a tax or government regulation we didn't like"

Those are covered by #12 and indirectly by #9.

No wonder the USA is a very, very badly divided country.

Yep. Dividing and conquering has been working well since at least Roman times.

13. It's always about the money. Especially when liberals claim "it's not about the money." And it's never a liberal's money that's spent on a liberal program - it's someone else's money.

I like number 10, it explains why liberals not only cannot agree with an opinion different then theirs, but can’t even comprehend the possibility that there might be a different point of view. A closed loop!

#3 is SO true. The first way to spot a liberal is when they’re annoyed by something and say, “That should be banned!”

Yes, they were. Bilbo of Mississippi, Tillman of South Carolina are two premier examples. Both left-wingers.

13) Do whatever you are told to do, behave as, act like, or force others to do no matter how disgusting the act, like sodomizing each other, raping children, or killing someone.
