There is no way to answer this without being labeled racist.
Then again, today’s definition of racism is anyone that disagrees with the left. So I will give one possible answer.
At around 13 percent of the population, and with most blacks living in big cities, could it be there are not enough blacks for each of us to have a “black” best friend.
That reminds me of a story:
One day, when I was in community college, we were in the classroom waiting for Trig class to start. A guy poked his head in the door and asked if we were going to use the projector left there by a previous class.
“No. Come on and get it,” we said.
This guy was African-American, and as he was packing up the projector to move, he looked around and asked, “Ain’t y’all got any black folks in this class?”
“No”, we replied
“Why not?” he inquired.
“I guess nobody signed up for it.” we answered.
“Well, why don’t y’all put your money together, and buy you one?”
That's right I said it.
I believe you are right. I live in a small town, central U.S. There are exactly 3 black people in my town and they are children, adopted as infants as babies.
I had black friends before I retired but they were "at work friends", I had invited my black friends to my house from time to time but only one ever accepted my invitation. I had asked him to "drop in" any time and he did.
