No one’s fault but Egypt’s. Mubarak and his worn out bunch of Nasserites were doomed when the Arab Spring hit. And most Egyptians support the MB; that’s why they came to power in the first place. If the Egyptian Army tries to suppress the MB, look for years of insurgency at best, and civil war at worst.
