Christie will sign bill that bans gay conversion therapy

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Monday will announce that he plans to sign a bill that will ban the practice of trying to convert gay children to a heterosexual lifestyle, according to an aide.

Christie’s office had previously made clear that the governor doesn’t believe in gay conversion therapy, but it had not said whether he would sign the bill passed by the legislature.

Christie said months ago that, despite his personal opposition, he wasn’t sure whether the government should legislate the therapy.

“I still have those concerns,” he plans to say Monday. “Government should tread carefully into this area, and I do so here reluctantly. I have scrutinized this piece of legislation with that concern in mind.”

He should sue Jenny Craig while he’s at it.

All I can say is that I will never, ever, vote for Governor Christie for anything. Not if his opponent is Hillary Clinton, not if it’s Leon Trotsky. The elite of the Republican Party must understand that its conservative base will stay home rather than vote for someone that does not respect our values.

Another small victory for the homo lobby. And people wonder why God made hell.

How can sane people ban therapy for those who have a problem?!

You simply cannot satirize--at least not by exaggeration--the idiocy of those caught up in egalitarian collectivist projects. I used to try in my law school days, but you simply cannot keep ahead of the fanatics.

For analysis of some of the foibles of the beast, see Compassion Or Compulsion?

If Christie signs such a bill, he can kiss support from most God fearing Americans good-bye!

Will he sign an anti-homosexual recruiting law whereby homosexuals cannot teach and recruit children in school to be homosexuals? Of course not, but homosexuals want laws that prevent converting homosexuals to being heterosexuals.

The purposely misleading headlines regarding this issue keep proliferating. An uninformed reader pictures children strapped to gurneys being subjected to repeat shock therapies, Cuckoo-style.

This bill is much more insidious than the shallow propagandist blather leads most to believe. It will essentially criminalize ANY professional therapist from even disparaging homosexuality in front of a patient, even one who comes to him for help in dealing with it.

Fat, liberal and RINO is no way to govern, Crispie.
Just go over to the dark, RAT side and get it over with.
